Benjamin Szalewicz, RA, AIA

Mr. Szalewicz is a Project Architect with Centerline Architects and Planners, PC. Mr. Szalewicz graduated with a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Art with a concentration in Architecture from Northeastern University in Boston. His professional experience includes a comprehensive range of architectural services in planning, design, and construction of various building types with a primary focus on sustainability through adaptive reuse of existing buildings and structures.

Mr. Szalewicz currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity, which rebuilds abandoned buildings and lots to create affordable housing within existing neighborhoods. He ensures the structures tie into the existing character and fabric of the surrounding area to provide the new homeowner with the tools to become part of the community. Mr. Szalewicz is an active member of the Pittsfield, Massachusetts Tree Watch, where he helps oversee a "healthy tree population" by protecting, preserving and encouraging tree planting through many organized community events.
