Updating this law firm meant more to its principal partners than just a fresh coat of paint.
They were ready for a complete makeover which included moving from a nondescript "totally 80’s" office building to a wing of MASS MoCA’s Historic mill buildings.
The subtle (or maybe not so subtle) message is "our structure is solid and has withstood the test of time but our way of doing business is modern, efficient and of this day".
Due to obvious client sensitivities, zoning of activities was of the utmost importance. Open office areas were organized to support the work of attorneys and to provide
support staff redundancies both for attorneys and for arriving clients. The key to the success of this project was the creation of an image of openness cloaked in a high level of security and privacy required for this law practice.
