The Park McCullough House Carriage Barn was renovated into a four-season event venue with a catering kitchen and full HVAC systems.  The 1886 Park-McCullough House is one of the premier historic sites in Southern Vermont and the project goal was to make the barn, their main banquet area, usable throughout the entire year in a manner that is compatible with preservation of the historic fabric and style of the buildings and grounds.  It was the Association’s desire to provide the Bennington area with elegant facilities for large functions, gatherings, and special events.  Strict attention and care was given to the character of the existing spaces so as not to detract from the historic significance of the property.  We were chosen for this project because of our care in historic preservation and of our ability to work within a historic context in a sensitive way.
